A three-dimensional bubble domain memory is provided by growing a plurality of magnetic garnet layers on one another. In the drawing, two bubble domain storage layers are shown, each of which has a drive layer above it. A nonmagnetic spacer layer separates the lower drive-storage composite from the upper drive-storage composite.
