Concept Search - What can I type?
For a concept search, you can enter phrases, sentences, or full paragraphs in English. For example, copy and paste the abstract of a patent application or paragraphs from an article.
Concept search eliminates the need for complex Boolean syntax to inform retrieval. Our Semantic Gist engine uses advanced cognitive semantic analysis to extract the meaning of data. This reduces the chances of missing valuable information, that may result from traditional keyword searching.

Preloaded, Gear Mesh, Spring Clip
A spring steel clip 10 that enables quick assembly of a drive shaft 12 and
gears 14 to a rack 16 is illustrated above.
By preforming a flat, thin piece of spring steel into a "W" shape with two slots
18 on each side, it can be snap-assembled onto a shaft arbor 20 by spreading
over latching lugs 22 that are located on each side of the shaft arbor 20.
When a shaft 12 with gears 14 is placed into the shaft arbor 20 and the gear
is meshed with a rack 16, the force that is created against the shaft 12 by the
spring clip 10 allows for proper operation of the gears 14 and rack 16 without
backlash or clearance being a major concern.
Any mismatch of the gears and rack are absorbed by the spring clip. This
allows for a consistent mesh through the entire operation of the parts. By use of
the clip, tight tolerances can be avoided and the cost of parts minimized.
