In many applications, such as supermarket and retail point of sale terminals, it is desirable to have two mutually exclusive viewing locations for the information being displayed. This requirement can be satisfied by providing two display devices, one at each of the different viewing locations. The primary drawback to this solution is the increased cost incurred in duplicating the display devices.
