Abstract

A clip 1 (Fig. 1) attaches a tape cable 2 (Fig. 2) to an arm 3, serves a tape cable 2 (Fig. 2) to an arm 3, and also serves to retain fine cable terminating leads 4 in place. The clip 1 has several snap-fastening limbs 5 which cooperate with complementary portions of the arm to retain the cable which is bonded to the upper portion 6 of the clip. One of the limbs 5' is formed with a sprung T-bar 7 having channel portions 8 at each end. The terminating leads 4 locate between channel portions 8 and a face of the arm against which they are retained by the sprung T-bar 7. T-bar 7 also provides strain relief for the leads. The leads 4 may be attached to, for example, a magnetic transducer assembly 9 supported by the arm.
