Concept Search - What can I type?
For a concept search, you can enter phrases, sentences, or full paragraphs in English. For example, copy and paste the abstract of a patent application or paragraphs from an article.
Concept search eliminates the need for complex Boolean syntax to inform retrieval. Our Semantic Gist engine uses advanced cognitive semantic analysis to extract the meaning of data. This reduces the chances of missing valuable information, that may result from traditional keyword searching.

Card Support Assembly for Thermal Printer
A thermal printer assembly includes a frame 3, thermal write head modules 4
and attachment electronics 5 carried by a thermal print head card 6, adapter card
7 and an integral tear bar 8 as a single unit.
The rectangular support bracket or frame 3 has the serrated or cutting edge
tear bar 8 formed as a portion of the upper edge and depending bosses 9 which
support cylindrical pivot members 10. At one side of frame 3 adjacent a platen
11, a print head card 6 is secured by a series of snap clips 12. At the opposite
side of frame 3, the adapter card 7 is secured by spring clips 13. Both print head
card 6 and adapter card 7 have depending projections that are received in
shrouds 14 to provide electrical terminations for printed circuits on the cards so
that electrical connection may be made to an associated data processing system
through interposers that afford pin terminations.
The series of thermal write head modules 4 are supported on the Print head
card 6 to present a continuous line of thermal dot print elements 16 confronting a
thermally-sensitive medium which passes between plate 11 and Print head card 6. A drive motor 17 functions through worm gear 18 and fear 19, formed to
rotate in unison with platen 11, to provide controlled rotation of the platen and
drive the paper or print medium being passed by the thermal print elements
carried by the thermal write modules 4. The snap connectors 20, mounted on a
frame (not sho...
