Abstract

In relatively low torque copier shaft drives, the inner race of a shaft-supported ball bearing is nonrotatably mounted to its shaft by an 0-ring, or a quad-ring. This arrangement simplifies initial manufacture, and facilitates later shaft removal for the purpose of service and maintenance.
