Abstract

Fig. 1 represents a drive arrangement for both high and low speed drive together with forward and reverse drive of a drive belt. The arrangement consists of input shaft 10 supported in bearings 12. It includes continuously driving arbor 14 which is attached to shaft 10. Spring clutch 16 may then be activated to connect shaft 10 to arbor 18 which is a part of gear 20. Likewise mounted on gear 20 is arbor 22 which carries clutch 24 therewith. Clutch 24 is engageable with arbor 26 which is attached to pulley 28. Pulley 28, arbor 26, arbor 22, gear 20, and arbor 18 are all mounted rotatably on shaft 10. Arbor 30 is fixedly attached to shaft 10 and carries clutch 32. Clutch 32 may be engaged with arbor 34, which is part of gear 36.
