This is an "in-phase" long-line receiver circuit for transistor-transistor logic
The input of the circuit can be connected to the end of a long terminated
transmission line and receive ground down input signals (-0.1 V to -1.0 V). The
circuit is a Schottky-clamped feedback current switch (T1, T2, SBD1, SBD2,
SBD3, R1, R2, R3) and emitter follower (T3, R4) combination. The output signal
(-0.8 V to -2.0 V) is "in phase" with the input signal and is capable of driving both
off-chip and on-chip circuits.
The circuit is unconditionally stable and exhibits high DC noise tolerance.
