Encrypting JDBC channel through infrastructure aspect weaving

Described is a system for encrypting Java Database Connectivity (JDBC) network traffic. This system uses Aspect Oriented Programming (AOP) to insert the logic for encrypting the JDBC traffic into any server that interacts with Aspects. Also described is how to identify which portions of the JDBC traffic to encrypt and the ability to deploy rules throughout the network.
