Abstract

Disclosed is a system of attaching additional information into a digital picture file which is taken by cell phone camera or digital camera set on a car. Recently, people can easily take pictures everywhere by using cell phone's camera. And people upload these pictures to their homepages or weblogs. But people have to input additional information such as address or location info where the pictures were taken. On the other hand, recent cell phones and cars can use the GPS. So, in this system, when people take pictures, cell phone retrieves location data by using the GPS. Then, cell phone access some information provider and retrieves other additional information such as address, weather information, visit history, nearest landmarks information and other data, based on this location data from these providers' databases. And cell phone adds these data into a picture file. In addition, drivers can also use similar system by using digital camera set on a car and the GPS. Drivers can take pictures and get related information data automatically while driving.
