The IP.com Prior Art Database
A novel roller reamer consisting of a tool body with pockets into which field replaceable cutter assembly inserts are fitted. The novelty is in that the cutter assembly does not rotate on a shaft, but the shaft is integral to the cutter body, forming a journal at either end. The journal will rest in bearing blocks which are fixed into the tool body pockets. The bearing blocks will be sealed, lubricated, and pressure compensated.
