Metal electrode shaping to reduce shadowing effect

Contact shadowing is a significant problem for solar cells, resulting in decreased efficiency. Special shaping of the contact can decrease shadowing and improve efficiency. Therefore we discuss in this paper below about possible metal electrode shaping reducing the shadowing for any direction of incident sun light. It is a big thing for the solar power generation using PV solar applications. It will help to increase the overall efficiency and reduce the cost. This will result in an improved grid parity performance.
