In virtual world, all traditional advertising method could be employed such as playing video, showing big billboard, speaking advertising sentences. But in virtual world, more could be done than these passive advertising. This invention gives a method to separate an advertising zone from the virtual world, defines advertising objects and their possible interactions. By which, user interacte with the vivid advertising object will get better feedback and get better impression.

Interactive advertising uses on-line or off-line interactive media to communicate with consumers and to promote products, brands, services, and public service announcements, corporate or political groups. In the inaugural issue of the Journal of Interactive Advertising, editors Li and Leckenby (2000) defined Interactive Advertising as the "paid and unpaid presentation and promotion of products, services and ideas by an identified sponsor through mediated means involving mutual action between consumers and producers." This is most commonly performed through the Internet as a medium.

Although there are some state of art technologies about interactive advertising for on-line and off-line applications, even for virtual world/game applications. All these interactive advertising are about delivering a piece of text, picture, video, or audio as an advertisement. The so called interaction is just deliver different piece of text, picture, video, or audio. There is no technologies dealing with how to do action based advertisement by delivering advertising objects (avatars) in virtual worlds.

In this invention,

we disclose a new method to calculate immersive advertisement in virtual world

(online game). The method is:

1. Calculate the advertising zone from given parameters, such as fixed surfaces to surround a 3D advertising zone
2. Calculate advertising zone from a given object
3. Put at least one advertising object in advertising zone
4. Provide advertising actions by advertising object, such as jump, be ate, be taken, talk, be sit, bepulled, be pushed, be hit, by drunk, be lighted, etc.
