Disclosed is a method to cool electronic equipment through the use of a liquid cooling solution hermetically sealed in a compartment mounted either inside of the server chassis or outside the server (e.g., on the top), replacing the lid of the server. In addition, the method incorporates various cold plates, mounted in a compartment, that gather heat from the different electronic components below and/or outside of the compartment.
