Business promotion now utilizes e-coupon often. Users can download coupon on official web site or kiosk on the street, the official web site or kiosk can get more Click-through rate or gather more people. However, when users get a coupon then he/she forwards it to friends. In such case, official web site doesn't get enough Click-through rate as planned, Kiosk doesn't gather many people as expected.
Usually, the e-coupon are given by QRCode to link to an website to download it, this will need network access. The invention here is to have QRCode embedded into Video Frames, which can carry much data as video plays, and data can be transfer to users without network. In order to keep the uniqueness of the QRCode, the method also designs to add unique serial number to each set of QRCode in the Video.
Decompose data into QRCode with unique serial number:
1. Server transforms binary data ( e-coupon, images, mp3 ..etc) into QR code, which generates a serial of QR codes ( ex: each QR code can store 2.9Kbyte , a 290K mp3 file with e-coupon will be decomposed into 100 Video Frames)
2. Server puts unique stamps as serial number into each QR code just generated. This can ensure the QR code is the only copy to the device. ex: Time stamp as the unique stamp
3. Server stores the serial number
4. Attach the generated QR codes into each video frame
