The aim is creating a trend based on users’ likes/interests and display an advertisement that is relevant to majority of users. Today, most of the advertisers make use of crowd gathering places such as markets, traffic signals, etc to publicize their product and draw attention of the users with the help of huge banners, hoardings, posters, etc. Now even though these huge banners, hoardings, posters etc might succeed in drawing the attention of the users, but it is very unlikely that these advertisements would be relevant to all or atleast majority of the crowd.
