A common occurrence is that when we are making a phone call on the subway, in the few seconds, however, owing to terrible 3G/4G signal intensity within the area that we are heading for, the network becomes poor enough to disconnect our call suddenly. This usually makes for very poor user experience, and even worse, can cause a loss on business occasions.

Likewise, when we are using 3G/4G network to work on a train or in a cab, but we are unaware that in a few seconds/minutes, the area that we are bounding for has poor 3G/4G connectivity. The result is always to bring our work to a standstill or even make our previous effort useless when the work is

just being processed at a critical stage.

The claimis made that the network connectivity is detected in a manner that either the map automatically detects within a circle or the users manually specify a certain direction; the claimis made that the map alerts the users of the coming poor connectivity in advance in a visible form while intelligently taking precautious action before the connection is lost.

When users install the map to their mobile devices, they can set the scope (within a circle or in a certain direction) for the map to detect 3G/4G network connectivity. The default value is1 square kilometer. Besides, they can set how many seconds in advance they want to get informed of the coming poor connectivity. The default value is15 seconds. When the map finds that the area/direction they are heading for has poor network connectivity, the app sends alerts to users by phone voice, a pop-up window, or phone vibration based on different scenarios.

By default, the map is running at the system back end and works real time and automatically. But if users want to open and see this map, they can see exactly the intensity of 3G/4G network through the map. In the figure, the blurred area of the real-time forecast and responsive map indicates that 3G/4G network connectivity is very poor.
