Currently we have an era of smart and connected vehicles. The benefit of this is that due to these vehicles talking, one gets to know any alarming change in the vehicle in front or behind it. Based on these inputs either the input receiving vehicle or the driver of that vehicle is able to modify his action.

Here an intelligent mechanism is needed for even the roads to be communicating, talking and then intelligently taking decisions for vehicles safety.

The summary of this article is to be able to analyze the current situation of the road and then have the road expanded in a manner to help both the sides moving. And together with it using 3D holographic projectors to help people show barriers and signs. And this data of intelligent road change would be passed on to distant vehicles too so that they are updated well in advance of the change.

A pure implementation of this could be on the entire roads, but we could also have patches of roads are identified wherein they are more prone to accident or needs to be used for monitoring. Here an analysis of the roads are made to understand the potential root cause of accidents.
