Current creation proposes a solution to reduce the recovery time by significant proportion. This solution propose to have a teritiary copy on the target site storage,which will be used for restarting virtual machines/Applications.

But existing one can not talk about how cloned disk/flash copy help to bring VM on target side to bring VM in quicker fashion and to do failover rehearsal With Current approaches, during Disaster event, Replication direction gets reversed ( or enabling the write on target site) and after Virtual Machines starts/boot up on the target side. Storage operations generally time consuming operation. As per our proposal, will configure the clone of disk(s) at target side which always has write enable on it. During disaster event, immediately, switch on the Virtual Machines on the clone disk(s). Simuntanously, reverse the replciaton direction between source & target. Once both steups executed, will also swap the roles of clone disk(s).

Creation here describes about restarting the virtual machine using the third copy which is copy on write mirror.This process of restarting the virtual machine using the third copy gives the advantage of reducing the time of enabling the target/disaster disks write enable. This process of having the third
