Method and System for Creating Upgrade and Upsell Opportunities based on Analysis of Conversational Context

Disclosed is a method and system to derive business or service upgrade and upsell opportunities based on analysis on conversational content. The system determines a user's profile for upgrade from analysis of conversational context sources. The conversation can be based on textual communication from a device or by parsing speech recorded via a microphone for analysis emotional attachment of user towards any product/ service brand loyalty spending habits, likes and dislikes, sentimental values. The system then compares new interest level to existing preferences listed in the user’s profile to identify relevant business or service upgrades. The system also analyses if the user has some urgency or is need of the identified business/service upgrades. Moving on, the system checks if the user is enrolled to any memberships and the associated incentives such as discounts and complimentary add-on services. For example, the user may have Very Important Person (VIP) status with airlines, hotels, credit cards. Similarly, the user may be entitled to memberships/incentives if he is a senior citizen or a kid. Additionally, the user’s employment status may also entitle the user to few incentives.
