Currently, no objective and reliable “ground truth” exists in ID Management market. For many reasons, legal IDs such as, but not limited to, passports, driver’s licenses, national IDs, cannot be relied upon. Moreover, integration of biometric and party/personal data has been subjective. Existing ID solutions are often limited by a requirement to create ever larger data ecosystems. These solutions attempt to raise the confidence levels but do not access the “ground truth”. The existing solutions based on these data do not provide high confidence data and the “1st contact ID resolution” capability. Another important aspect missing in the current solutions is the ability to effectively manage the use of the ID information such as consent management capability. Consequently, even the best existing combinations of data, analytics and ID management technologies deliver outputs that do not effectively and efficiently serve to the myriads of needed ID use cases. More specifically, due to the lack of reliable digital identity and associated consent information, the ID related Quality of Service (QoS) and consent management functionalities are limited and ineffective. Disclosed is a method and system to create and exploit objective ID on blockchain, referred to as Objective Blockchain ID (OBID), to provide varying degrees of QoS and consent management attributes. The Objective Blockchain ID is a Blockchain object which contains the subset of meta-data from the collection of sources and the meta- data about action are performed against the identity management. In addition, the method and system includes an engine for ranking and providing a confidence score based on the meta-data’s relevance to the requests. The method and system defines the network traffic, real-time requests and additional service for measuring the QoS for each request. Also, the method and system maintains the tracking history records and creates the Blockchain against identity elements. The system includes a QoS engine for determining varying and relevant information subset that is either defined by the industry or by consent of an individual. The system also includes a consent management module for ID verification and access to subsets of party data and biometric data. Based on the consent, encrypted data are accessed and variation of industry defined identity elements is pre-determined and hashed. This hash (or proof) can be further applied to technologies such as Zero Knowledge proofs or Homomorphic encryption. FIG. 1 illustrates an architectural overview of the method and system in accordance with an embodiment.
